Andy Warhol was an obsessive collector of watches, and among the many he owned was a Piaget Black Tie he bought in 1973—a model since renamed the Andy Warhol Watch. Selected by a jury of five leading curators and two ARTnews senior editors, this year’s honorees will be named in six categories: Emerging Artist of the Year, Established Artist of the Year, Historical Artist of the Year, Lifetime Achievement, Best Thematic Museum Show, and Best Gallery Group Show.
